My stay was enhanced by the manager, who kindly arranged early check-in and provided valuable insights into the local history. The location is a brief walk from Lerwick's vibrant waterfront, making it an ideal base for explorations. My room featured a comfortable bed, an electric kettle for convenient tea-making, and a bright seating area that overlooked the water. The bathroom was spacious, equipped with a large shower and complimentary toiletries, ensuring a pleasant experience. While the continental breakfast was satisfactory, I believe a selection of fresh bread and homemade jams would elevate the morning offering. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms allowed for convenient planning of our day trips. For those seeking luxury without the hefty price tag, Edelwood provides an enjoyable stay. It exemplifies how one can experience the Nordic charm without overspending, making it a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers.
